Kodiak & Kodiak-X Course Director Conferences

The Kodiak Course Director Conferences (CDC) are now changing from National training centers to Regional and Area facilitated training.  Additionally, more and more councils are requiring course directors to complete the training before they can conduct a Kodiak course.

If you want to learn more about what CDCs provide, visit www.kodiakcdc-bsa.org.  It is a great resource for scouting professionals and volunteers.

Some of the advantages of taking the CDC are:

  1. It is conducted by people who have experience with the course and can offer good insights.
  2. The material covered provides a working knowledge of the Kodiak syllabus.
  3. It will enable course directors to organize, promote and conduct council approved courses.
  4. And it can be fun!
